CSA works through a network of Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and partner NGOs in order to accomplish its mission. We strongly believe that Communities at the grassroots should take up ownership of their development. To this effect, the CSA and CBO staff have engaged in a process of rapport building, selecting key leaders from the community and thereafter empowering them to take up the responsibility for leading the process. Centre for Social Action strives to restore the dignity of vulnerable children and bring about an equal and value-based education by providing support structures ensuring their right to education and building in the civic consciousness so that they take small initiatives to build their communities. They want to ensure that every woman is socio-economically empowered and her basic rights guaranteed through a process of awareness, capacity building, linking them to their entitlements and working towards providing sustainable livelihood opportunities. They train vulnerable individuals and groups by exposing them to various domain-level skills and teaching them to make various products so that they can stand on their own feet and take care of themselves and their families.
