Snehalaya wants to develop the awareness and capabilities of individuals who have been deprived of their fundamental rights as a result of the inequalities that exist in our society. In Ahmednagar, they have been successful in bringing an end to the use of minors in the sex trade, stopping second-generation prostitution, 100% condom usage among sex workers, a reduction of new cases of HIV in sex workers, from 17% to 3.4%, a reduction of new cases of STDs in sex workers, from 56% to 2.3% and so much more.
